I'm a singer/lyricist and with a few friends have cooked up the idea for a massive,
ramshackle band in the spirit of Arcade Fire, Architecture In Helsinki, The Polyphonic
Spree and I'm From Barcelona. We are called The Paperwork.
We're aiming to form a large band of at least 10 members, possibly a lot more. Any
instruments are welcome - brass, woodwind, strings, electronics, keys, vocals,
percussion. We particularly need DRUMS, GUITARS and KEYBOARDS. But you don't need any
musical experience or ability - we are after anyone with enthusiasm, who's willing to
have a go at something a bit different - just jump on stage, sing, shake a maraca,
whatever!
Other influences include Beck, Bowie, The Beatles, Dylan, Radiohead, Pulp, Sufjan
Stevens, Bjork, The White Stripes, and The Flaming Lips.
