MOFO review Ice 9 - The Phat conductor (2 wars) The phat conductor is one of canada's most respected decknicians and one of the most enthusiastic and passionate supporters and an up-and-coming talent of the breaks scene in Canada. Amazingly this is his his first vinyl release and it combines the best elements of hip hop decknology and steely nu skool beats. Filled with vocal sample hooks and a roaring synth riff, it's also given a techier work over by the man Scissorkicks, which strips the samples to the "bass speakers" and fires it into orbit. Very promising indeed.
