At the moment (late october / early november) nothing much is happening - there's a doof on 27th november i think with olli wisdom - who is an awsome trancey DJ. Other than that I don't know about any really good parties - there is definitely going to be something big on new years as always and following that there are usually plenty of raves / doofs over the summer so just keep an eye out for flyers (especially fubar on abbott street) and you'll be partying like a local in no time hehe |

yeah olli is the 23rd. Hes one of the biggest names in psytrance in the world... New Years is Symbiosis, put on by the chunky bush monkeys, its got 3 stages etc etc also happnin is the minisrty of sound with mark dynamix at 1936 and also Occillating presenting Karim (Tinrib recordings) Nik Fish n some other irish dood on the 28th, also at 1936... there are always parties in cairns as well, u just have to know where to look... :P |

certainly does go off! Nothing planned after new years big yet (although talk of Skazi is on the horizon, who knows...) tho its easy to find the doofs in cairns, just go check out the flyers in any respectable music or rave clothing shop... |

just go to Taste-y Productions on shields street, its down a little arcade underneath the erotica sex shop a couple of doors down towards the esplanade from the woolshed, all party info here as well as the latest vinyl, cd`s, fashion etc. you cant go wrong |
