Something comples her to put the headband on, and when she does she can read the hieroglyphics on the scroll with no problem. They inform her that she now has the strenght of Isis, "powers over the forces of nature, and of the animals; powers of the mystical regions of the mind." To summon them, all she need do is say "Mighty Isis." However, she must say the words aloud. Andrea's pet is a crow named Tut. In addition to having the ability to control nature and animals, Isis can fly by summoning the "zephyr winds", can receive telepathic images from members of the Freedom Fighters (cartoon), and can split into three people. Although it is not explicit in the scroll, all of Isis' commands must be spoken in rhyming verse in order for them to work. Nor deos Isis need the glasses she must wear in her Andrea identity. Quote: "Oh blaze that burns and flames and flashes, reduce yourself to cooling ashes!" Comment: The live action Isis was played by actress Joanna Cameron. In 1977, the Filmation heroine remained on the air on The Secrets of Isis, after which she became one of The Freedom Fighters (Filmation cartoon series). Her voice on this series was provided by Diana Pershing. DC Comics published eight issues of her own comic book.
