Signals from Afar returns for its second month of weekly parties with an exciting
international guest.
Antix / Fiord (iboga records) DJ set. Having toured the international festival circuit
since their break through album LULL in 2003, Melbourne is very lucky to be treated to
such an intimate club gig in a a lush venue. Known originally for their progressive
sounds, Antix relatively new project FIORD moves toward futuristic techno driven
rhythms.
Signals from Afar continues to showcase exciting new electronic music played by
Melbourne’s finest and most interesting Djs and live acts. From tech house to minimal
to electronica and beyond “Signals from afar” will be an evening of sounds that
progress from mid tempo electronica through to full blown dance floor action.
Weekly guests are joined by an exciting array of residents: U-One, Heath Myers, Johnny
Mac, Slieker, Chestwig, The Cook and many more signal senders will play from week to
week.
Quality sound, late license, AMAZING balcony, plenty of parking and away from the hustle
of the nightclub district, the venue provides everywhere that counts.
