Hi Everyone,

My name is Andrew Hewitt, Im a drummer looking for a band around Sydney. I live in
Matraville, so rehearsals around Alexandria or Newtown would be great.

My influences are John Bonham, Phil Rudd, Ian Paice and Carmine Appice.

Looking for hard rock covers or originals.

A bit about me, I have been a drummer for 27 years despite being born with Cerebral
Palsy. I walk on crutches, sometimes use a wheelchair, but this has never stopped me.

Over the past 17 years I have worked successfully as a performing artist, motivator, drum
clinician and drumset educator.

I have appeared in various magazines over the last few years such as Modern Drummer,
DRUM! and Australian mag Drumscene. Recently I have released my debut DVD both here in
Australia and the USA through US organisation "Alternatives In Music". It's a short 14
minute feature about me being a drummer with CP and how I have managed to overcome
physical obsticales with drumming.

Im endorsed by DW Drums and Drum City Sydney, and am a member of the Vic Firth education
team.
