we're getting excited about the best outdoor summer trance/live festival in NZ.....

and local performers. Psytrance, Progressive, Minimal Tech, Breaks, Dub Step, Drum &
Bass, House, Glitch, Electro, Dub, Reggae, Live music, World Grooves, Tribal rhythms,
Folk, Roots, Ambient, esoteric beats and more...Find your rhythm on the two crankin’
dancefloors, get primal with the drums of the Tribal zone, take it horizontal in the
Chillout zone, or bring an instrument and join in the fun in the Acoustic jam space. 

KISS at Luminate! –Knowledge and Inspirational Sharing Sessions: an extensive programme
of workshops covering a wide range of holistic, cultural and environmental topics. 5
Rhythms Dance, African drumming, Poi & Juggling, Yoga, Kirtan (mantras), Meditation,
Harakeke, Permaculture, Deep Ecology, Reflexology, Poetry, Music industry seminar and Dub
techniques with Mad Professor, Vibrational and harmonic music production theory with Pan
Electric, Creative sound play & songwriting with Karen Hunter, Didgeridoo with Si from
Wild Marmalade, and many more.

Organic food and refreshments, arts, crafts & market stalls, healing zone, the Flaming
Jugglepoitoy zone with fire performers at night & circus skills workshops by day,
enlightening movies & documentaries, spacious camping, solar showers and
amenities,....all set 2000ft up a quartz crystal and limestone mountain surrounded by
native bush. 

Luminate is a Clean Environment event. There will be no rubbish bins or recycling on
site!
Be prepared to pack out what you bring in and leave no trace. Bring your own plate and
cup for the food stalls. There will be a composting area for biodegradeable material. Our
ethos is to RRRESPECT zero waste!
The festival site layout and art installations have been designed using sacred geometry,
natural materials and re-used resources. 
Luminate is a family friendly event. Alcohol and dogs are not permitted.

All prices include admission to the festival, entry to all music and workshops, one
week’s camping and access to amenities.
