Some info on our visitors ::

Tegma

Behind the music of Tegma are Omar Chelly and Jason Orfanidis, both born and bred in
Swedish town Malmoe. In 1998 they started their first common project Epsilon focused on
melodic trance, but two years later they completely fell in love with the new wave of
progressive and minimal psytrance which caused a birth of brand new act called Tegma.
Since then they have released about 40 tracks on cd compilations and vinyls of various
labels and also three full-length albums, Encoded/Decoded (Digital Structures 2002), 002:
Avantgarde (Candyflip Records 2005) and recent Around the World in 80 Minutes on Tribal
Vision Records. Both guys also work under their moniker “Homer N Lazon” focusing on
progressive and electro house.

DJ Slater

Michal Smetana aka Slater started his DJ carrier in the late 90´s, spinning goa and
psytrance vinyls at small semi-private underground events. At the beginning of 2001 he
decided to establish a new DJ crew with the objective of promoting own trance parties -
and after a couple of months of preparations the Synapsy open air party was born.
Organized in the amphitheatre of the castle of Lipnice nad Sazavou, this legendary event
was the beginnings of the Tribal Vision promotions group.

Tribal Vision has been slowly getting engaged in more and more activities connected with
the trance music, focusing mainly on a new wave of progressive and minimal sound. In 2004
Slater together with his friend Schwa started their work on the first Czech progressive
label and by the end of the year, Tribal Vision Records was born. Yet the first cd
compilation Urban Legends caught the attention of both DJs and listeners worldwide and
Tribal Vision has been slowly establishing itself as one of the leading labels on the
progressive scene. The number of high quality compilations, artist albums and vinyls is
getting bigger every month and in their own artist roster are names such as Tegma,
Fitalic, Rai, Sonic Cube, POTS / Prisoners of the Sun and more. Slater himself is working
as label´s main manager, A&R and representative DJ.

Sun Control Species

Drooid a.k.a Suncontrolspecies has become a standard amongst the australian trance scene
since the turn of the millenium. A fully accredited musician and engineer, working from
98-2000 as a commercial sound engineer and producer in Sydney, he eventually left to
pursue his own music career. After deciding against joining a 'boy band' [for obvious
reasons!] the project SCS was born. Now based in Melbourne, his countless perfomances and
tireless travels all across australias thriving scene, has brought a solid reputation for
the unique style and feel SCS brings to the table.

Also extensively travelling the globe, playing alongside almost every other major artist
on planets like Denmark, USA, Israel, France, Croatia, and Japan to name a few. With many
credits to his name, like live SCS sets recorded and aired for over 1 million people in
scandanavia alone, headlining festivals such as Rainbow Serpent three years in a row, and
being recognised by peers and punters alike as having a 'node' of originality that is
crucial in todays scene. Released on progressive labels like Zenon, Sub-machine and Zma,
Domo, and firmly working with Danish Super-label iBOGA, remixing artists such as FREq,
Antix and Behind Blue Eyes, SCS is an all-rounder who's deep, emotional and uplifting
music has been inspiring people 'on' and 'off' dance floors for years.

Sensient

Sensient is 26 year old Tim Larner from Melbourne, Australia. Having played drums in
various funk/fusion bands since the age of 12, he has always had the music in him. His
early days in the scene were spent in the rainforests of Byron Bay, soaking up the vibe
and inspirations of such a place. Then in time he purchased his first computer and
immediately began to explore the possibilities of sound creation. Now he has developed is
own unique style of dark, deep and funky progressive psy. Atmosphere plays a major part in
his music, and the groove factor is equally important. He tries to create a space in which
the listener is free to explore his music in their own way and interpretation...nothing is
rammed down the listeners throat. After many compilation releases on respected
international labels like Plusquam, Flow, ZMA and Sub Machine, Sensients’ successful
debut album "Blue Neevus" was released on German label Tatsu Records. In the same year he
set up his own label Zenon Records releasing acts like Krumelur, Freq, SunControlSpecies,
BigWigs and many more. In 2004 he completed a 3 month tour of Europe and Japan. In April
2005 he released his second album “Pressure Optimal” on Zenon Records which was
heralded as a landmark release in the minimal progressive trance genre. In 2005 he made a
3 month tour of Europe and Brazil where he played at some of the biggest festivals
including Voov Experience, Fusion Festival, Arvika Festival and more. 2006 will see the
release of his 3rd album on Zenon.

Shamaniac

Patrik Olsen aka SHAMANIAC was born in 1974 in Sweden. Hes been playing records
regularly at clubs and festivals over the past 16 years, ranging from radio hits to deep
electronic grooves and everything in between. Since the mid -90s Patrik has been
focusing on electronic music, mainly progressive & psychedelic trance, and the skills
behind the decks has brought him around the globe to places including Mexico, South
Africa, India, USA, Greece, Spain, Italy and Germany. In 1997 Patrik formed the
well-known trance outfit NECTON along with Matin Stf, with releases on labels such
as Spirit Zone, Plusquam, Digital Structures, Spiral Traxx, Iboga, including an exclusive
contract on Spirit zone, resulting in album release, several EPs and a huge amount of
compilations and a set at the 2005 VOOV Experience in Germany. After many years of
DJing and playing live around the globe as Necton, Patrik formed SHAMANIAC as a solo
side project, to further explore the sonic landscapes of electronic music, focusing
mainly on a crossover between progressive and psychedelic trance with lots of drums and
percussion.
This is Patrik's first show in Australia!

Tetrameth

Tetrameth - an extremly original blend of morning/progressive trance. This man's music
has an added layer of technical musicality, which truly makes the end result a beast of
its own. A performer and life time musician, Tetrameth graduated with a diploma in
contemory Jazz at the "Conservatorium of Music" on the North Coast of NSW. Playing in
bands for several years, Peter Hayes (as he is sometimes known) is now producing psy
trance at a world-class level, truly pushing and surpassing boundaries previously set
within the genre.A genre or style he likes to call "Technical Progressive". Tetrameth's
releases include "The Quickening" can be found on the "Intelligent Manipulation"
compilation through Zenon records (Feb 2005). "Escape Sequence," written & produced by
Tetrameth & Shadow Fx (aka James Hayes - Pete's brother) released on "Contact Lens"
(march 2005), a compilation put together by a New Zealand label, Cosmic Conspiricy
Records. In early April this year Peter released Tetrameth's debut album "Psycological
Pyrotechnics" on Zenon Records, and since then has been busy playing all over the country
treating audiences with his fresh blend psychedelic, melodic morning magic.A definate
sunrise pleaser. By Golly! (Beat Magazine 2005)

Autonomech

Autonomech is Melbourne based artist Zebulan Richardson. Zeb draws on many colours, from
an extensive sonic pallet, blending them to create a uniquely diverse style of
experimental progressive trance. With influences of genre as varied as jazz, funk,
breaks, glitch, deep house and trance with an emphasis on psychedelic experimentation and
dancefloor unification, Autonomech is fast becoming one of the most sought after new
progressive artists of the 06-07 summer festival season. The newest member of the Zenon
family Zeb's sound is a valued new addition to their already well established vibe. The
debut Autonomech album is due for release on Zenon in 06 and various compilation releases
are pending on labels at home and abroad.

AUTONOMECH machines that choose.

One Tasty Morsel

OneTastyMorsel is the solo project of 22 year old Paul Van Morsel hailing from the hills
of FNQ Australia. The project kicked off in early 2005 after a passion to express his
musical views could not be found as an artist within the live band scene. Drawing
influence from many forms of music and combining an eclectic taste in electronica with a
passion for minimal psychedelic trance, the OneTastyMorsel sound lies somewhere in the
middle grounds of Sensient, Autonomech and Krumelur.

"OneTastyMorsel, Have you had yours yet"

Suspekt

Suspekt is Jesse Kuch, hailing from the rainforests and beaches of Cairns, FNQ.

Co-owner of new Aussie label Open Records, Jesse hopes to bring new life to the evolving
sounds of progressive dance music.

The Suspekt sound is best described as deep, atmospheric tribal progressive with elements
of trance, house and techno wound together skilfully into his own distinct “voodoo”
groove.

Underpinned by a smooth transition technique and only the freshest of sounds from the
Open Records vault- Suspekt is one of the fresh faces on the Australian festival
circuit.

Coming off the back of a large summer tour which has seen him play mainstage slots at
events such as Phonoscope, Tribeadelic NYE, Summer Solstice, Superfreak and Exodus, Earth
Freq is Jesse’s final stop before returning home to work on the 2007 Open Records
schedule.

If you don’t know the meaning of “apocalyptic-deep-voodoo-tribal-hypnosis”- after
Earth Freq you certainly will.

Selwa

Selwa, a tibetan term for luminosity and clarity. Event Organiser, Producer and DJ
combining elements of IDM, digital dub, ambient, downtempo, world and experimental
