NOW THAT I AM SAVE, I SHOULD BE BAPTIZE.
Matthew 3:13-AV Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto
John, to be baptized of him.
Matthew 3:14-AV But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be
baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
Matthew 3:15-AV And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it to
be so] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.
Then he suffered him.
Matthew 3:16-AV And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up
straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened
unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove,
and lighting upon him:
WHERE SHOULD ONE BE BAPTIZE?
ANY WHERE THERE IS MUCH WATER:
River:
John 3:23-AV And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim,
because there was much water there: and they came, and were
baptized.
HOME:
Acts 16:30-AV And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I
do to be saved?
Acts 16:31-AV And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Acts 16:32-AV And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and
to all that were in his house.
Acts 16:33-AV And he took them the same hour of the night, and
washed [their] stripes; and was baptized, he and all his,
straightway.
DESERT:
Acts 8:26-AV And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying,
Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from
Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
Acts 8:35-AV Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same
scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
Acts 8:36-AV And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a
certain water: and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water; what
doth hinder me to be baptized?
Acts 8:37-AV And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine
heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that
Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Acts 8:38-AV And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and
they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch;
and he baptized him.
Acts 8:39-AV And when they were come up out of the water, the
Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no
more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
BAPTISM DO NOT MOVE SINS:
1Peter 3:21-AV The like figure whereunto [even] baptism doth also
now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but
the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection
of Jesus Christ:
BAPTISM SIGNIFIED CHRIST
DEATH, BURIAL AND
RESURRECTION:
Romans 6:3-AV Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized
into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Romans 6:4-AV Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into
death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of
life.
Romans 6:5-AV For if we have been planted together in the
likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of
[his] resurrection:
WHOSE NAME SHOULD WE BAPTIZE IN:
The main important thing is that the person acknowledge the
person of God, the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit.
And know that the Jesus that was crucified is the one that he/ she is
being baptizing into. Because! there was many people having the
same name at the time of our lord. It is important to know that the
name "Jesus" Is the English name for the son of God, when he was on
earth he was not call Jesus. Iesus. The Hebrew has no "J" No Jesus, No
Jehovah = Iehovah. A minister can pronounce the name of Jesus over a
candidate at baptism, or he can pronounce the name of the
father, son, holy Spirit.
JESUS IS JUST THE TITLE
OF THE SON OF GOD:
John 19:19-AV And Pilate wrote a title, and put [it] on the
cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE
JEWS.
John 19:20-AV This title then read many of the Jews: for the
place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was
written in Hebrew, [and] Greek, [and] Latin.
(1) IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE
HOLY SPIRIT:
Matthew 28:19-AV Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of
the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20-AV Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I
have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the
end of the world. Amen.
(2) IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
Acts 8:16-AV (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only
they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Acts 10:48-AV And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of
the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
JESUS IS THE SON:
John 3:16-AV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
THERE ARE THREE IN HEAVEN:
1John 5:7-AV For there are three that bear record in heaven, the
Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
THREE IN EARTH:
1John 5:8-AV And there are three that bear witness in earth, the
Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in
one.
EQUAL WITH GOD:
Philippians 2:5-AV Let this mind be in you, which was also in
Christ Jesus:
Philippians 2:6-AV Who, being in the form of God, thought it not
robbery to be equal with God:
Philippians 2:7-AV But made himself of no reputation, and took
upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of
men:
Philippians 2:8-AV And being found in fashion as a man, he
humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death
of the cross.
Philippians 2:9-AV Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him,
and given him a name which is above every name:
Philippians 2:10-AV That at the name of Jesus every knee should
bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things]
under the earth;
Philippians 2:11-AV And [that] every tongue should confess that
Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
John 5:18-AV Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him,
because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that
God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
WHERE THREE MEAN ONE IN SCRIPTURE:
Matthew 3:16-AV And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up
straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened
unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove,
and lighting upon him:
Matthew 3:17-AV And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my
beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Jesus in the water being BAPTIZE by John, the Holy Spirit came upon
him, and a voice spoke from heaven saying" This is my beloved son"
A MAN AND HIS WIFE IS TWO SEPARATE PEOPLE
BUT ARE REGARDED AS ON IN SCRIPTURE:
Genesis 2:24-AV Therefore shall a man leave his father and his
mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one
flesh.
Ephesians 5:31-AV For this cause shall a man leave his father and
mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be
one flesh.
Matthew 19:5-AV And said, For this cause shall a man leave father
and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be
one flesh?
YOU FREE TO BAPTIZE AS YOU WANT:
It really does not matter. But for people
who are religious fanatic, it mean a lot. If the Bible teaches two
thing different, then it is up to each church to pick their
choice. Baptizing in Jesus name is more like a Jewish baptism, the
Jews believe that God had a son, but they do not believe that the
Jesus whom we preach, whom was kill in Jerusalem is God son.
To be sure when dealing with Jews it is best to pronounce the Name O
Jesus over them at Baptism. They believe in the father, son and holy
spirit. But do not believe in the Jesus which we preach.
Proverbs 30:4-AV Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended?
who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the
waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the
earth? what [is] his name, and what [is] his son's name, if thou
canst tell?
IT DOES NOT MATTER ,
YOU CAN KEEP SABBATH IF
YOU WANT:
Romans 14:5-AV One man esteemeth one day above another: another
esteemeth every day [alike]. Let every man be fully persuaded in
his own mind.
YOU MARRED IF YOU WANT:
1Corinthians 9:3-AV Mine answer to them that do examine me is
this,
1Corinthians 9:4-AV Have we not power to eat and to drink?
1Corinthians 9:5-AV Have we not power to lead about a sister, a
wife, as well as other apostles, and [as] the brethren of the
Lord, and Cephas?
1Corinthians 9:6-AV Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to
forbear working?
YOU EAT MEAT IF YOU WANT:
1Corinthians 8:8-AV But meat commendeth us not to God: for
neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not,
are we the worse.
Proverbs 8:8-AV All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness;
[there is] nothing froward or perverse in them.
Proverbs 8:9-AV They [are] all plain to him that understandeth,
and right to them that find knowledge.
