Hi, Can anyone recommend a place to stay near the fullmoon action? I'm looking for somewhere that budget/mid-range, but clean and pleasant. I'm also looking for the best, ie most hazzle free/reasonably priced, mode of transport from Singapore-Koh Phangan, any suggestions? What's the scene like these days, is it a relatively safe party scene, anything to watch out for? Ta Shanti

sorry but I can not help you with this question for a room and stuff, but check out the Full-Moon-Afterparty at the Backyard-Pub in HaadRin, everytime after a Full-Moon-Party or also after New-Years or X-Mas ... it´s a real satisfaction to come away from the stress & mass of the night into a new party-day in a fresh club... and not just a club: indoor & outdoor, two floors and a huge "dance-balkony"...
