I have heard the term "hard style" being tossed around like a greased up gerbal as well..
anyone got any light on that one?
 

these trax drive thru' the breakdown, instead of peaking out like alot of trance.....its
still all pretty close to hard trance.....and its not like im just playin one style,
"hard acid trance style house" - there thats a new genre 4 ya'll...."i think the hard
bass thing comes from the fact that its the main drive behind these trax.....a hard ass
bassline that thumps along! hard trance/ hard bass ....its just a name  , just another
shot at trying to define a style, gotta admit tho' , HARDSTYLE has a nice ring to it!!!! 

Hasn't got a gabber bassline to it at all...  If it did, it would be gabber and not
Hardbass!

It does derive alot of similarities with Gabber though, like big distort bass samples on
the 8 beat and such.

But JJ is right, the emphasis is taken away from the reach for the lasers, marching music
feeling of Trance.  It's more about rock hard Basslines with extra balls and a lot more of
a dutch feel about it!

Just waiting for Hardbass tracks called, "Fuck your Mother in Hell"

...Then it'll be real tough like gabber!
