Manchester-based Fluid DJ Agency boasts a roster of household names that would get any
club in the universe moving
Taking its name from the Bruce Lee quote ‘Be like water’, the Fluid DJs team’s
ethos is that off adaptability and continuous movement, ensuring that everything flows
smoothly.
Our roster comprises of
K Klass,
world reknowned for their top ten hits ‘Rhythm is a Mystery’ and ‘Let Me Show
You’ , a string of top 40 tracks and remixes, including a Grammy nomination for
‘Best Remix’, as well as the more recent tracks released on their own label Musik-K
such as Reza and K Klass ‘Finally’. They enjoy DJ success all over the world playing
regularly at Fierce Angel in Ibiza, Dubai, Russia, Australia and also rocking it all over
the UK every week.
Al MacKenzie (D:Ream)
is also featured on the Fluid DJs roster. A regular name on DJ bills the world over, Al
has enjoyed many years success with the band D:Ream, and they have just launched their
new single ‘All things to all men’. He has recently been a habitual feature of the
clubbing scene in Croatia and Russia as well as working hard to promote the newly
reformed D:Ream with Peter Cunnah.
Brandon Block
is someone who needs little introduction. A household name and regular face on various
reality TV shows, Brandon is known foremost for being a legend in the clubbing scene.
Under the name Blockster, he had two hits with ‘You should be..’ and ‘Grooveline’
He is a mainstay of the Ibiza clubbing scene as well as filling dance-floors all over the
globe!
Graeme Park,
one of the original Hacienda line up, he was resident for 8 years, and going from
strength to strength in 2009. Graeme recently played at Twestival in Amsterdam and
rocked it. He plays all over the world and there aren’t many that come close to Graeme
in the legend stakes. He is one of the premier trend-setters in the house music scene
.
Jon Pleased Wimmin
- from the ashes of pre-house clubs such as Kinky Gerlinky and Taboo, when a good night
was measured on hedonism, came screaming through Jon Pleased Wimmin! After many a night
dancing on podiums in London's clubland - Jon was given his break as a DJ by Danny
Rampling at his weekly night Glam, allowing him to play to a whole new audience and
propelling him into the public eye. These days he can be found playing out as far afield
as Australia and South America, but is still as popular as ever in the UK.
Billie Ray Martin
has been dubbed ‘The Queen of Electronic Soul’ in her time. Anyone who had the
opportunity to hear her in Electribe 101 has her beautiful and haunting vocals imprinted
on their mind for eternity. Billie then went on to have massive success with a worldwide
number one ‘Your loving arms’, which is now regarded as one of the great classics of
dance music. As a DJ, Billie delivers a distinctive and spot-on set of cutting-edge new
Electro-Tech. The growing response to her DJing has led to bookings taking her across the
UK and worldwide, generating a frenzied reaction wherever she plays.
Reza
holds a residency at Fierce Angel in Ibiza and is definitely one to be keeping an eye on
for 2010! A new single out with K Klass finds him as busy as ever, with regular airplay
on Radio One who describe him as ‘A great talent!’ Reza has performed at some of
the world’s biggest festivals including V Festival and he is often found DJing at clubs
such as Ministry of Sound, Fabric and Heaven. Also a producer there probably isn’t a
spare minute of the day when Reza isn’t firmly connected with the progression of dance
music in some way!
Ken Fan
is now the proud resident of Fabric in Madrid. These past few years have seen things go
from strength to strength for the founder and resident DJ of Around the World in 80
Raves,
the old Miss Moneypennys and Chuff Chuff Resident. Ken has been playing regularly around
the globe to destinations such as Brazil, Columbia, Dubai, China, South Africa, Miami,
Moscow, Hong Kong, & Ibiza. His production & DJ skills have gained massive support from
the industry’s most illustrious names from Carl Cox, Joey Beltram, Roger Sanchez,
Dubfire and Nick Warren to name a few, so there is no doubt that Ken will be the one to
look out for in the future of house music.
Allister Whitehead
is one of house music’s true legends and needs no introduction. He is one of the worlds
hardest working DJs both in the UK and abroad and when he isn’t behind the decks, is
busy in the studio remixing and producing. He regularly rocks it at clubs such as Cream,
Fantazia and Godskitchen.
Rocky (X-Press 2) –
well known for being part of Djing duo ‘Rocky and Diesel’ and one third of
top-forty-smashing X-Press 2, Rocky is also a celebrated DJ the world over. Having
recently completed a tour of Australia and with regular slots in Ibiza all through the
Summer, Rocky is currently enjoying delighting clubbers up and down the UK.
Kelvin Andrews
was one of the original residents of Golden in Stoke and has been part of the dance music
landscape for two decades. Kelvin was one of the friendly faces behind the decks at the
Luv Dup nights in Manchester in the early 90s. He has since played in Japan, Australia,
Germany, Italy, France and Ibiza too many times to mention. He is one of the most
revered
pioneers of Acid House and plays sets that stretch right across the musical spectrum.
Farley Jackmaster Funk
– Chicago’s Farley had a massive hit in the 80s with Isaac Hayes ‘Love Can’t Turn
Around’ and is one of this planets top DJ, regularly dubbed ‘The King of House
Music’. As legends go they don’t come much bigger than Farley, and he has had many,
many hits over the years and is part of the fabric of the Chicago house music scene and
the pioneers of the house music scene in general.
Paris Brightledge –
‘It’s Alright’ was produced by iconic legend Marshall Jefferson and has been
hailed as one of the most influential songs in House Music. Paris has played at such
clubs as ‘Studio 54’, ‘The World’ and ‘The Limelight’, to name just a few.
While paying close attention to maintaining the "Chicago Sound", Paris has also penned
the phenomenal underground ever-classic "Learn To Love’ and ‘She Didn't Know’.
Paris delights audiences all round the world with his PA.
