Gatecrasher proudly welcomes back the legendary, Paul Van Dyk as he returns home for what
promises to be one of the highlights of 2007.

After a marked absence from the hallowed Gatecrasher turntables, the teutonic lord is
gracing GC1 with an epic 6hr set. It’s been long overdue and after years of requests
for his return, Van Dyk is back to devastate the dancefloor as only he knows how.

Deservedly retaining his number one dj status in 2006, PVD has firmly established himself
as one of the world’s most prolific djs. Having received countless awards over the years
as a dj, composer and producer, he has always been held in high regard by the Crasher
crowd. It will be an emotional homecoming for PVD, to the club where his exclusive 6hr
sets have gone down in history as some of the most memorable club nights ever. Considered
a rarity, his extended sets are reserved for Gatecrasher and Berlin only.

Following a busy period in the studio, Paul Van Dyk will showcase new material from his
forthcoming artist album. After previous award winning productions and a Grammy
nomination, the expectations are high for his latest release. As Van Dyk continues to
deliver his own musical perspective as an artist; he is constantly pushing the boundaries
as a dj by embracing new technology. His computer based sets allow him to layer and remix
the music as he performs creating a unique musical landscape.

Following his renowned residency in 1999, PVD has a special connection with the Crasher
fraternity. His deft ability to read the crowd and capture emotion in his sets has made
him universally respected. We look forward with great anticipation as he returns to his
spiritual home, Gatecrasher.

Warming up proceedings on the night, Riley & Durrant are sure to build the foundations in
their trademark style. Keeping the atmosphere simmering whilst teasing the crowd with well
selected synths is an artform, which R&D have mastered over recent years. Combined with
Crasher’s high production values, this may bank holiday is set to go right off!
