Hi everyone and welcome, Team ‘06 is pleased to announce that entries are now open for the Face of 2006 International Photographic Modelling Competition. The finals will be held in New Zealand. The Face off 2005, this year, was the first time this competition was brought to 138 countries around the world. Now the Face of 2006 is being organised to really go global !!!! The focus will once again be on Hamilton City, New Zealand’s 4th largest city. The finals will be conducted in front of an audience of 1500-2000 people, with industry personalities judging the finalists, along with the Face of 2005 winners, who will be coming back to New Zealand as guest judges. We are certainly looking forward to that. The Face of 2006 is now allowing each contestant to attach the web address to their own websites.. This can be added in the section where you enter your interests etc. This is the first time links are being allowed on entries. For those who have already entered, the Face of 2006 please simply send in your url with your screen name (nickname) to gr-productions@xtra.co.nz and we will update your contest mini-folio of six images Why enter now? As the website is attached to a major New Zealand directory service, with links from the Hamilton City Tourism website, and our own GR_Productions 2002 website, it was decided to add a little extra exposure for the contestants. In this way everyone can benefit from being involved. Please note that the age range for this competition is 16 years to 35 years as of May 1st 2006. The planned week long events, in Hamilton City, will ensure a great time for all finalists, with a wine, food and music festival, fashion shows, professional fashion shoots, media and of course the big night, the final judging, with the two winners announced. If you haven't entered yet, then get online, fill in the online entry form, send in your favourite images (only professional images please) and be prepared to do your best to become one of the finalists and travel to New Zealand for the finals. SPECIAL NOTE: We are updating the assignments as work is confirmed over this coming year.
