GLAMPIRE
This Saturday night, Catacomb will introduce you to the disturbing
reality of
Glampire. We have CDs to give away in our own immortal tradition of the
drawing of the names from the decapitated head of the auslander. Cast
your
lot into it if you wish to be One of The Chosen Ones. There will also
be
some Glampire propaganda to pollute your mind. If you want some early
seduction see their web page at http://glampire.com/home.html
Wear vampire fangs and get in for NO COVER CHARGE.
Even without fangs, there is 2-for-1 cover AND 2-for-1 drinks from
9-10pm so
please come early. $2 Black Death Shooters - $3 Non-juice Rail Drinks
VNV NATION RETURNS TO D.C. : Thanks to some brilliant efforts by
Nocturnia/Alchemy and Deep6, VNV Nation will be RETURNING to DC to
actually
play on Thursday, September 28 at The Cage. They will play as part of
the
previously scheduled Attrition show for that night. Tickets will be
just $15
($12 if you buy them at The Cage on Thurs, Sept 21). Catacomb would
like to
encourage everyone to attend this event. Not only will Attrition and
VNV
Nation put on a great show for you, but everyone involved with this
truly
special event richly deserves your support. Please attend this.
Dave Collodel - screw the Bella Morte CD, if you can go to this show, I
have
tickets to that for you instead. Please claim one or the other at
Catacomb
on Saturday.
BI-SEXUAL DAY - It has been brought to my attention that Saturday,
September
23 is International Celebrate Bisexuality Day! To "celebrate" in our
own
special way this Saturday night, Catacomb will be giving away a VERY
limited
number of buttons that say "Bi-Sexual Goth: I Hate You All Equally."
First
come first grab. You may required to validate your qualification to
wear
this button in some degrading fashion. We are trying to think of
something.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Please note that on Sept 30 Catacomb hosts a VERY
special DJ: Andy Dean, lead singer of Bella Morte. Bella Morte's CD
and
their live shows have really resonated with a lot of people in our
scene. As
Andy likes to say, they are "a Goth band with a Punk Rock attitude."
This
shows in the highly personal way they they interact with their fans, in
the
energy they pour into their music and, of course, in their very cool
hair.
Having Andy as our guest DJ provides you a chance to get a very special
glimpse into what helps inspire the music of Bella Morte. DO NOT MISS
THIS.
(P.S. If you don't like Bella Morte, come next week anyway. There will
be
cake. It's Melissa Caraways birthday.)
