I spent a few days in Berlin over the summer with my partner and we enjoyed it so much
that we are coming back with a few friends for New Years. We'll be staying in Prenzlauer
Berg.

Can anyone recommend a friendly, lively bar where us four 25-29 year old Brits could
enjoy ourselves and welcome in 2004 in style?

All suggestions welcome!

I would recommend checking out the Schall and Rauch (in Prenzlauerberg). Visit their
website and see what you think! I was there this week, and the crowd and wait staff were
very friendly. From the website, their New Year's parties look lively as well. Good luck!
