Call for art submissions for Newcity's Pre-Election Edition Newcity's cover story on October 28 will be our last before the election. For that issue, we plan to publish a selection of political art made or found in Chicago relating to the presidential election. This will be a non-partisan package, although we will not necessarily attempt "balance," since we've seen very little or no street art supporting President Bush. We're looking for art that was made for display or for grassroots distribution, not made in response to this call for submissions. In addition to posters and works of art, we're open to photos of "found art" and custom-made T-shirts etc. To submit for consideration, please send a TIFF or JPEG, minimum 200 dpi, to artvote@newcitynet.com. We reserve the right to publish any or no submissions, and to add captions. Please include title and credit information, along with your contact information. There will be no compensation for publishing any work.
