Hey,

Just thought I'd ask around to see if there are any new TV shows people are hyped about
that are coming out soon. "Weeds" is coming out this Sun. on showtime, but has anyone
heard of it yet?

I work with them and just watched the pilot last week. It seems like no one I've talked
to has heard about it so if you haven't, it's got the drama of Desperate Housewives just
edgier like the Sopranos and way funnier. Basically, Mary Louise Parker is on the PTA of
her sons' school and deals pot in the neighborhood since her husband died. The rest of
the cast is pretty solid including Kevin Nealon from SNL who's awesome on the show. He's
clueless city councilmember who happens to be one of MLP's clients. The characters in
general kinda remind me of Desperate but the show itself is just such a mix of other
shows but still feels original.

I guess the description doesn't really show how all that can be funny but there's a
