performance of his deep techno soul. Originator of the timeless
Groove La Chord Brikhas music has been released by such
prestigious labels as Derrick Mays Transmat Records and
recently with Peacefrog. While minimal, he creates cerebral,
emotional and spiritual electronic music.
Monday, May 1st
STACEY PULLEN (Black Flag-Detroit) plays
Deep Space set all night. Rare NYC appearance!
Inspired by the mystical epicenter of the techno
earthquake, Pullen has been released on
Transmat Records, K7, Ubiquity and now his
own label Black Flag. Pullen laces together
elements of house from Chicago and Italy, New
York Garage, and African Tribal sounds into one
simultaneously soothing and startling groove.
He is well suited for a creative Deep Space set.
After all, great music is in his blood. His father
was part of the then well known Motown group
the Capitols which provided Stacey with an
environment filled with classic songs.
