short SEEN Fest bio and editorial:
founded by Tyrone S. Ingram
Fox Ingram Enterprise have been producing SEEN (The SEENFest) for the past 7 years and
at their own expense (with a monetary contributions here and there over the years),
promoting and helping to promote many international and locally renowed reggae artists
and bands however we at Fox ingram Enterprise regret to inform everyone that this will
perhaps be our last show due to lack of monetary support and of support from the reggae
music community overall
we also regret to inform you that over the last seven years we have found that there are
those in the reggae and world music community who proclaim:"Forward, Roots and Culture,
Jah Rasta Far - I !") the support of reggae music becoming more in the daily parts of our
mainstream radio stations and our overall society have yet proven themselve to be quite
hypocritical of and in their support in the growth of roots and culture and reggae music
events ( more esspecially the locals )
we are also disappointed that these so-called conscious artists, djs, band members and
fans are in fact selfish and should be ashamed of themselves for making such a claim.
bottom line:.......
As promoters, Fox Ingram Enterprise is leading the way in unselfishness. and is proof
that with love desire and drive, here in America ( USA ) anyone can make something and/or
someone and become something and/or someone from absolutely nothing.
SEENFest is an event that Fox Ingram Enterprise have been executive producing and
producing with the view to furthering reggae music, roots and culture here in the bay
area and give locals and others "the big stage" as well as providing the opportunity for
benefit to many of the area's "human strife" organizations.
Absolutely no person(s) benefit from reggae music locally and the SEEN Fest without your
contributions, please, send in your checks, cash or money orders today.
fortunately this year we do have a great line-up of some of the greatest and "realest"
bands and artists ever to grace a stage anywhere in the world.
we we're consider turning the SEENFest into a hip hop event...hmm...more on that later.
My experiences in the SEEN Fest and the bay area reggae music scene have been
great!"...minus this egotistic BS that I have received from many of the "not so well
known" locals who for some reason seem to think that they are "mainstream" and have
"arrived" and that there is nothing at all that We (Fox ingram Enterprise) and the SEEN
Music Series can do for them in terms of furthering their respective names and overall
music & stage careers.....how wrong you are.
none the less, We bid you good fortune even still
on the other hand, to those of you who gave 100% support and have in fact benefitted from
this event over the years, We say: 'THANK YOU!" from Fox Ingram Enterprise and The SEEN
Music Series.....you know who you are.
x-tra PS:
We are proclaimed "Free People" so now let's us start acting like it!.

spread the reggae music, roots and culture?......
I propose that we spread the reggae music and the culture......
"BY ANY MEANS AVAILABLE!"
I dont know about you, but I can not remember when I heard reggae music on the radio and
on a regular 24 hour basis. what is the problem? ... nuff greed and egotism. however,
soon I forsee hip hop, R&B and even Gospel making some incredibly phenominal changes in
it's genre's structure, there is a greater "reggae-style type" presence in just about
everything audio on today's TV: commercial themes, movie scores, many of today's hit
songs are beginning to have more of a dancehall or "hip reggae" -" "rimshot" flair,
accoustics, many of todays music award winners and nominees are actually judged by not
only the Genre that they're in but, also on their ability to skillfully play musics of
other genres (for cross-over appeal) like Reggae & Dancehall, Ragga, Ska and other world
musics (hip traditional and folk)
I posted the SEEN Fest review in the reggae message board because normally nobody ever
hear of an event until it's right upon them and then many have to resort to hasty
planning or maybe perhaps never attend the event thus losing out on perhaps becoming
exposed to this reggae music and it's market and economy that appearently we are all
involved in and in fact naturally "part-owners" of.
PS: The SEEN Fest is totally free!
founded established and copy written 1996
we pay for it. no commercial sponsorship (we're still trying), market, promote and
perhaps venerate others who were perhaps " unknowns" before becoming a part of The SEEN
Music Series, international video distributions,
real reggae ambassadors at work
like everyone else on this beautiful planet of ours, "we all need to try very hard to
continue to work together and remember where you are and from whence we all came....or
from where we think we came."
much, much more can be accomplished if we worked together.
you and yours in the valley area and we and ours in the hilly areas
if you like i will send you a video and let you see for yourself what we and ours can
bring to the table and the possibilities.
then perhaps you can do likewise...or something of the likewise sort
" let's all continue our networking with oneanother folks!"
Tyrone S. Ingram
X-tra PS: try visisting our site: http://expage.com/oonkasymeon and even perhaps leave
a link to your reggae site ( "sign the guestbook!" ) for all of the reggae music lovers
here in the bay area to enjoy so that they and the fresno massive can parhaps connect as
one.
remember do not be offended but:
"slavery in america is suppose to be long over, now let's all lose that old mentality the
same way ...... starting now!"

READ REVIEWS ABOUT:
FOX INGRAM ENTERPRISE and SEEN FEST FROM OTHERS:
Fox Ingram is an entrepreneur, a gentleman I met selling his wares at a farmer's market.
Fox Ingram Enterprises -Bay Area Reggae Bands and Artists- is a Website that promotes the
music and musicians of world beat and reggae that Mr. Fox Ingram loves. And at the same
time promotes the Flea Markets and the items he sells, i.e. Body soaps, incense, oils,
jewelry, music, etc…
I give this website high ratings because of its user friendly design, the cheerful steel
drums and marimba in the song that automatically starts playing, and the fact that many
people and the music artist benefits from the site. With it's Reggae Ring the site
provides links to other reggae sites and promotes concerts, and features the musician’s
songs onsite. You can get a good sample of some locally made music, leave a message, or
read the message board, and even download music from these local artists for free but
don‘t forget to buy a CD or some patchouli oil. http://expage.com/oonkasymeon
Another phenomenon on the Internet is people teaching new ways to learn, and for free! A
great site I discovered on the web is
Mr. Natural’s Neighborhood Music School - A Free Music School teaching music theory.

A Letter from a FOX INGRAM and Dub Mission fan, to DUB MISSION:
to all of DUB MISSION I bid prosperity
Just wanted to say hello to all and that the entire site looks great! and that I enjoyed
myself at the last Dub Mission (Elbo Room ) show a few weekends ago. however in reading
the Dub Mission site's biographical material, I was very disappointed to see that neither
of The Fox Ingram Enterprise Crew (Poopa T, The Incredible Sly Fox, Lucky Cat, King Caleb,
Oonka Symeon, Henry "Aladdin" Fisher, Reggie B,
Sweet Chocolate, DJ Jahgee and Promise) are not mentioned in your biography. I can
remember when in your earlier shows these guys were there and supported you guys (and
yes, Dub Mission did do like wise.) I guess what i am trying to say is that I was
recently speaking with one of the F.I.E. Crew's singers and they spoke very highly of Dub
Mission. What was odd to me is how Dub Mission rarely (or never) even mention these guys,
especially after their incredible promotions that they did for Dub Mission in the East
Bay Area years ago along with some incredible early shows w/ Dub Mission.
these guys have become very popular in the bay area and on the west coast and certainly
have a pretty decent name (among other things)
what ever happened with you and those F.I.E. guys?
One thing I can say is that the "Voice" of Fox Ingram Enterprise (Oonka) is very out
spoken and can sometimes be a little fiery but, I must say that he does have a good
reputation for working with others, organizing and getting things done
and in my opinion is and has proven himself to be a very good person to know in this
business
Is Dub Mission still in contact with these guys?
I saw them at several of your late 90's shows at the Elbo Room and even got to know the
entire F.I.E. clan...and had a really, really great time watching these guys rehearsh (Sly
Fox, Poopa T, Sweet Chocolate And Oonka Symeon) last year @ Fox Ingram Enterprise's annual
SEEN Reggae Worldbeat Fest held every summer (for the last 6 years or so) in Berkeley and
is certainly growing and has become a major reggae festival event in the bay area and the
west coast...might I add, a few thousand or so folks were at the last SEENFest that I, my
family and a few out of town friends attended and they (The Fox Ingram Crew) where all in
very fine form indeed!
I do think that you two entities should consider working together again.
I did see magic when I saw these guys with DJ Ludicris, DJ J Boogie, DJ Ron & Vanka, Jah
Bill, DJ I, DJ SEP and DJ Collage at the Elbo Room in San Francisco some years ago, back
in the late 90's.( DEC 96 - JUN 98)
please give me an update on how I can gfet in contact with these guys again and your
current work relationship with them.
thank you
