New Forms Festival Seeks Volunteers! New Forms Festival 2004: Technography An International Festival of Media Arts October 14 – 28th 2004 Vancouver, BC – The New Forms Festival is an international festival that showcases emerging new media artists from around the world. This year, the festival runs from October 14th to 28th at eight different venues around the Lower Mainland. The festival features an exhibition, a performance/events series, and a conference consisting of keynote addresses, panel presentations, and workshops. The New Forms Festival would not exist without the support, energy and enthusiasm of volunteers who work in various roles – as drivers, photographers, gallery builders and guides, security volunteers, merchandise volunteers, hospitality & concessions volunteers, box office volunteers and technical support volunteers. Each volunteer is offered an opportunity to utilize and develop valuable skills, as well as the chance to rub elbows with international media artists. Volunteers enjoy free access to festival events, a free festival t-shirt, food, and other tantalizing perks.
