SEA VANCOUVER FESTIVAL 2005 SEEKS VOLUNTEERS! The Sea Vancouver Festival July 6 to 10, 2005 False Creek, English Bay, Kits Beach Park, Vanier Park and the Maritime Museum Vancouver, BC – 2005 is the inaugural year of The Sea Vancouver Festival, an annual maritime festival celebrating life by the sea. The festival runs from July 6th until July 10th in and around False Creek, English Bay, Kits Beach Park, Vanier Park, and Maritime Museum. The festival will feature headline concerts, races and regattas, theatrical performances, a boat show, beach bocce, traditional canoe carving, casino nights, fireworks, and the world-renowned Tall Ships. Volunteers are needed to work in various roles at this exciting summer festival: as greeters, tourist guides, drivers, deck hands, dock crews, ship liaison officers, entertainment production volunteers, ticket-takers, security assistants, media liaisons, safety personnel and event volunteers. Each Sea Vancouver volunteer will be offered the opportunity to utilize and develop valuable skills, as well as access to gated festival areas, a free festival t-shirt, food, a volunteer appreciation bash, and other tantalizing perks.
