He is the founder and managing director of the legendary 3D vision records from France. At 3D Vision he produces under the name Absolum and works alongside Talamasca and Nomad. Needless to say, his collection of music consists of released and unreleased music that he is sure to wreak havoc on the dancefloor. Christof has been involved in the music business for quite a long time, releasing his first record (Eighteen, Mayaprod/ Musidisc)back in 1998 in the pure new wave style of the 80’s but seriously electronically oriented for that time. He started producing psytrance with Transwave in 1994 which was then one of the most popular trance projects (7 Eps and 12 albums between 1994 & 1996) releasing on various famous French and English labels. Today Christof is running his artistic career successfully with his solo project Absolum, currently releasing on 3D Vision and TIPWorld some of Europes most famous labels. He regularly collaborates with well known French/ foreign producers (GMS, Alien Project, Nomad, Talamasca, Wizzy Noise, DJ Dimitri) and has released under names such as Elixir, Future Corp, C.R.M.B. His music is described as HiTek precision pieces of super structured, savage, searing sounds. A cranium creakin’ frenzy of hi-tonal abandonment towards total Nike meltdown. The venue for Friday 27 June is the spacious DCM, Sydney. Our decorations crew will be filling the venue with a barrage of UV wall hangings and décor. Visuals and lighting crew will be working hard all night to keep everybody more than amused. There will be 2 rooms with 2 bars and plenty of seated chill areas but please try to secure tickets early as Sydney fans have awaited the arrival of Christof for a long time and this night is definitely not one to be missed. Ozzy from Tribeadelic Records will also be making the trip back up from Melbourne after he blew the roof of the Dendy in May with his unique energetic style of psytrance. Ozzy has recently toured Japan and has gained fresh signings from Brazil, Switzerland, Israel and Japan. His list of music goes on and on and I am sure we can expect more madness from Ozzy next Friday. Some of Sydney’s finest local DJs will be supporting on the night.
