Gary Dryza AKA Ishu is a one-man dub-machine. Drawing comparisons with the likes of the Mad Professor and DJ Krush, Ishu presents a real live hip-hop/dub experience that incorporates samples, live instrumentation and guest vocalists that is warm, bouncy and laidback. The sad news for Melbourne folk is that Ishu is leaving us to travel the world and is unsure that he may ever return to Australia. To give you one last chance to catch his fantastic live show and an opportunity to wish him a bon voyage, Ishu will perform at a farewell party in his honour at The Laundry joined on stage once again by good friends Wayne Lotek, Rae Pale, Pataphysics, 3OB and more. Very special guests from Sydney, The Versionaries are making the trek down especially for the occasion and DJs Affiks and A13 have also been enlisted for party duty. Entry is only $5 and it all kicks off at 9pm. Ishu's debut EP is out now on the Foreign Dub imprint thru MGM.
