Alex Routledge is a classical pianist with a difference. Having formerly plyed his trade with numerous pop and rock bands, the musician has re-invented himself as a classical pianist.
His live appearances are breathtaking, combining dexterous and intricate musical passages with jazz-infused chords, at times blurring the lines between romantic period classical music and modern day jazz.
Every Sunday evening, from 7pm GMT, Alex presents a weekly podcast of classical music, airing pieces from his forthcoming album ‘Man On A Mission’, as well talking about classical music in general.
