BOOTIE 5-YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY: REVENGE OF THE A+D SHOW
Adrian & the Mysterious D present a sequel to last year's epic multimedia mashup extravaganza, featuring their own mashups in a stage show combining mashup videos, live performances, go-go dancers, an audience sing-along, dance troupes, and even a live Guitar Hero mashup duel. The performers in the show are a veritable "who's who" from the SF underground: Steven Satyricon, The Indra, Felicia Fellatio, Renttecca, Jordan L'Moore, Ya-Ya, Princess Kennedy, Patty O'Furniture, Tristan Shout, and John!John! The show also includes two dance troupe numbers from Johnny Sexbang of SF Boylesque and hip-hop dance troupe Funk4Soul.
Bootie's live mashup rock band Smash-Up Derby presents "Smells Like Mashups 101: A Bastard Pop History Lesson." Also spinning on the main floor will be DJs Party Ben, Malderor, and Dada. In the upstairs room we have the "Covers Lounge" which will feature ALL COVER SONGS in all forms, all night, with beloved mashup producer DJ Earworm, and DJ Throat Yogurt.
Finally, to celebrate its 5-Year Anniversary, Bootie will also be giving away a custom-made free 20-track 5 Year Anniversary CD to the first 500 people through the door, featuring mashups from every guest DJ who has played the club over the past year, and containing many of the year's best bootlegs from around the world.
