DAVID WAXMAN BIOGRAPHY:
There are only a few people in the music business that are as multi-facited as David Waxman. From nightclub promoter, to nightclub manager, to DJ and producer, to A&R director and label executive, he is the epitome of diversity. He has also mixed 15 compilations, selling over 1/4 million units in total, ranging from house to chilled, to club classics, to electro, to trance and you can hear this diversity in his live DJ sets. Whether he is playing at one of the largest clubs in in the country, or an ultra exclusive VIP club, he has a unique style that transcends genres. This native New Yorker has been working professionally behind the decks for over 15 years and although starting off in the city that never sleeps, Waxman first gained notoriety during his residency in South Beach at the celebrity infested Liquid, where he was first to import the New York progressive sound that became popular for years to follow. Upon returning to the New York club scene, he was offered a monthly residency at the world famous Twilo. His monthly residency evolved into a weekly Saturday night residency opening for Junior Vasquez and his 7 hour sets were praised by Mixer, Muzik and Mixmag magazines. Soon after, David was scouted by the Crobar nationwide club chain landing him as one of the residents at Crobar NY and Miami. He now can be seen and heard behind the decks at various clubs around America, but when he's not playing the hottest records on the weekends, he is signing them during the week to Ultra Records, where he is the Senior Director of A&R. FRENCHY LE FREAK BIOGRAPHY:
Frenchy’s style is genre defying, funky and deep, playful and hard, it’s always driven by his own improvisation as he feeds off crowd’s energy. In 2004 Frenchy looked overseas to expand his career by going on lengthy European tours that took him numerous times from Ibiza to Germany. Influenced by the harder, more electro progressive European house, Frenchy started to play these records that struck a cord with SF music industry professionals and party goers. His style has slowly changed to the “big room” sound, with vocal driven high-energy house that brings the “hands in the air” vibe to the dance floor. Yet he is still versatile enough to play funkier and deeper 4-4 beat at smaller venues, much to the delight of the crowd. Frenchy’s mission in every set that he plays is to introduce the crowd to the exclusive new cuts from the world’s foremost producers and to tailor each set to the crowd’s mood, to connect with the crowd and improvise on the fly. Overall, Frenchy’s always focused on bringing quality house music to the people by epitomizing his motto “Tout pour la Musique” or “Everything for the Music.”
