One of the most dynamic and versatile jazz voices currently on the British scene, trumpeter Byron Wallen has performed with rap outfits such as The Roots, Digable Planets and Us3 as well as appearing alongside African pioneers such as Hugh Masekela, Manu Dibango and Ammampondo.A seminal figure in the world of jazz Byron won the BBC prize for Innovation in Jazz in 2003 for his 'Indigo ' album.
