Playing original material ranging from intense relentless grooves, intricate time-signatures and Hendrix-esque meltdowns, the group is versatile in a wide range of genres drawing on all of them to form an original sound based on extended improvisation, rhythmic-energy and accessible, melodic compositions that belie their complexity.
Featuring Shane Forbes, a member of Empirical, and guitarist David Preston who is often seen at the Vortex with Ian Shaw and Alex Bonfanti, the line up is completed by Havana-born percussion virtuoso, Hammadi Valdes who brings a traditional Cuban sophistication to the ensemble having worked with Chucho Valdes and Irakere.
