3 rooms of world class international and domestic artists!!!

Dousk (Vapour, Greece)

John Douskos aka Dousk is a Greek-born artist who at the age of 20, had already completed his studies in classical music, which comprised of classical piano, jazz and electronic music production and engineering. Anyone who went Rainbow this year will remember the monumental Monday afternoon with Dousk, Minilogue and Kasey Taylor. It is an absolute pleasure to welcome him back and to give him control of the decks for what will be without doubt a night to remember.

Sun Control Species (Iboga, Australia)

Sun Control Species has become a standard amongst the Australian festival scene since the turn of the millenium. He has headlined Rainbow Serpent 4 years running and had his music aired to over 1 million people in Scandinavia alone. SCS is an all-rounder who's deep emotional and uplifting music has been inspiring people on and off dance floors for years. It wouldn’t be a Rainbow event without him.

Tim Harvey (Rainbow)

Melbourne producer and DJ, Tim has been actively involved in the Australian scene since 1996 and is a regular at Australia’s most well-respected electronic music festivals. His current direction represents a fusion of funky progressive fused with elastic, electro cuts and a good dose of grinding techno.

Simon Slieker (Monotremes)

Possessed with a balance of skill and sensitivity, Slieker draws upon the subtleties which can turn a set into a cohesive aural journey. Not only does he recognize such amorphous qualities as depth, scope, timing and intensity, he manipulates them as surely and deliberately as a shift in the pitch.

Mish'Chief

If she’s not spinning deadly tracks in the booth you’ll probably find her front and centre on the dance floor. Her passion and taste are reflected in her enthusiasm to create dynamic sets. Mish'Chief is versatile and not afraid to mix things up with anything from Techno, Progressive, Jacking House, Hard Disco, Electro-Rock, Minimal and funked up breaks/hip hop featuring in her sets.

Ryo (Solstice Music, Japan) (Techno Set)

Ryo started to play trance music in 1995 and is one of a select few DJ’s who have been involved in the Japanese trance scene from the beginning. As the resident DJ for Tokyo-based Solstice Music since 1999, Ryo has played virtually every single festival and club throughout Japan and the world including a number of massive Solstice Music produced parties.

Gavin Martin (Open Records)

Gavin is one of the most respected djs in Australia having been an integral part of the scene for the last 10 years. Gavin’s music style is a blend of deep evolving progressive, techno & house sounds mixed with an earthy edge, intelligent atmospherics, & an ear for forward thinking Sonics.

Cook and the Chef (Fed Up)

Formed in 2005 through a mutual passion for food & music, the duo have ventured far beyond the kitchen, having played funk fuelled sets at major events around Victoria and beyond including Rainbow Serpent Festival and more recently the Summer Soltice Festival in Cairns.

Heath Myers (Semi Retired)

DJ/Promoter Heath Myers is one of Melbourne’s icons and a long time Rainbow Market Stage Luau fixture. For those that don’t know Heath plays a cheeky chunky eclectric-techno blend of acid, electro, kooky beats and deep fat bent-tech with emphasis on creating a dirty dance floor mash up with unpredictable drops.

Dave Pham (Stable)

Dave Pham began chasing his musical aspirations by collecting vinyl in the early nineties. Since 2000, Dave has been experimenting with crossing Techno with other genres of music such as Electro and Experimental sounds and is now received by audiences, other DJ’s and promoters as being one of the most versatile around.
