Book Release Event 4 Prince's "21 Nights"!
DJ doctor BAGGIE spinning hi-NRG Prince. Purplelectricity is a video dance party and Canada’s only recurring Prince tribute party -- this is the 18th instalment. Purplelectricity features music and videos that span Prince's entire career right from 1978 until the present. The party launched in 2004 and has hosted official label release instalments for both of Prince's last two recent albums: "3121" and "Planet Earth". Glam slam martinis and cocktails available, using the same recipes as were used in Prince's legendary Glam Slam nightclubs.
Door prizes including copies of Prince's new book "21 Nights". The book, out on Simon & Schuster on September 30th, captures Prince as never seen before by photographer Randee St Nicholas at Prince's record-breaking 21 Nights In London arena concerts in London, UK in the summer of 2007. The book also contains a bonus live CD "Indigo Nights" recorded at the 21 Nights in London aftershows.
