Learn to Dance MERENGUE Beginner Course

Partner dancing is all the rage today, and the following dance class(es) will teach you the turns and the spins to the hottest partner dance in Merengue. You will discover how easy it is to lead/follow your partner, and to move in perfect partnership, as you show off on the dance floor. Get ready to have the time of your life in no time, when you dance the night away.

Learn the world's most romantic dances with a fun. This course is designed for those who have never danced before or danced very little. MERENGUE: This is the easiest and fastest way to look like you've been dancing for years. The dance is energetic, the music really fires the dancers up. Merengue can be one of the most exciting, sensual, intricate and stylish dances around. This dance is a free-form Latin dance that uses a simple step patterns and good leader-follower connection to make each dance experience unique. The music has distinctive Latin percussion, encouraging you to step on every beat. You will learn the following: the basic step pattern, giving and receiving turns, proper body positioning and hands, footwork styling options, several turn combinations, hip isolations, music theory.

** Beginning level class; no previous dance background is expected.
** Sign up with or without a partner. Singles, couples, and teens welcome.
** When: Wednesday, October 22, 29; November 5, 12
** This class is for 4 Week Series for 1 hour per class
** If you can't make it to an Entire Series, You can Drop-in
** Rates: $10 Drop-in Fee; $15 Drop-in Fee for Couples
