M TO RECREATE ICONIC PHOTO STUDIO AT SYDNEY’S ESTABLISHMENT BAR
M Photo Studio Live Dates Where: Establishment, 5 Bridge Street, Sydney When: Monday December 1 – Friday December 5 from 12-3pm and 5-9pm Monday December 8 – Friday December 12 from 12-3pm and 5-9pm
Australia’s newest sparkling wine brand M is setting up a photo studio next week in the window of Sydney hotspot, Establishment, to recreate the unique self-photographic experience made famous in the 1970s by iconic fashion photographer Helmut Newton. The M Photo Studio will allow people to become the subject, stylist, photographer and their own muse in this interactive event.
Live for the first two weeks of December, the M team will be on hand with a suite of modern vintage fashions and a make-up artist ready to assist Sydneysiders in their own photographic transformation. It’s a perfect after work destination for groups of friends or colleagues to celebrate the best of summer and the best of modern vintage fashion in a fun, relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
Participants will be able to see and share their own interpretation of modern vintage fashion through the M Sparkling website (www.msparkling.com.au) where their photographs will be uploaded to an online gallery. Website visitors can then enter their unique passcode to download high resolution images, email links to friends and create Facebook profile photos and wallpaper.
The Newton Photo Machine was created by Helmut Newton so he could capture subjects as they see themselves. His muse were confident, self aware, sophisticated young women, passionate about fashion and style.
The M range of sparkling wines were created to celebrate the Italian approach to sparkling wine - young and fresh but spirited, sophisticated, voluptuous and grounded in the art of tradition. The M muse are the ingénues of fashion and film today – the epitome of the modern vintage fashion movement.
