With disco back in the frame, enter Parisian tastemaker and king of the edit Pilooski!
What would happen if a disco futurist had produced Frankie Valli? Or if a heavy 4/4 beat was favoured at the mix-down of Del Shannon's 'Gemini'? These musical noodles and many more have been answered judiciously in the now infamous Pilooski edits for Parisian plat du jour D*I*R*T*Y label.
Crowned "king of the edit" by Trax magazine, Pilooski's ultra-limited no repress edits have become cult collector pieces and enjoy currency amongst some of Europes most discriminating music heads. As a DJ, he moves deftly between Krautrock, northern acid soul and south italo-disco (with a bit of French touch for good measure), Pilooskis sets have become known for their signature and power-to-move (one of the DJs of the year according to Tsugi magazine). Something that punters and avid collectors can enjoy alike. The past has never sounded so new.
Support Acts: Magic Happens, Nick Field, tha Fizz, Golden Ron, Casette.
