The Tealeaves play music that warms you up inside. Their songs are inspired by Cat Stevens, James Taylor, and Simon & Garfunkel – music that overflows with melody, harmony and lyrical honesty. The Tealeaves were Melbournian friends and housemates long before they formed the band during 2008. James, the original leaf, gathered the group together to prepare and record their self-titled debut album, which will be released later in 2009. The Tealeaves’ songs appeal to music-lovers of all ages, evidenced by the growing fan-base they have amassed in such a short period of time.
