Put your balaclavas on because Twilight Crooks, a fresh new weekly project is about to hit Melbourne on 4th September.
Incorporating art, fashion and music. Twilight Crooks bridges the gap and fuses the 3 elements in a unique space turning it into a hub for creativity and mayhem to collide.
Twilight Crooks will feature different artists (writers & painters) and street fashion labels on a monthly basis. Every month a strong emphasis will be given to one brand/label and artist. During that month, paintings from the artist and new ranges from street fashion labels will be showcased. September brings Byron Bay label 'Afends' and Perth based street artist 'The Yok'.
Twilight Crooks are also giving people the chance to take charge of the dance floor. “MyPod Bitch”, allows peeps to take control of the dance floor for 15 minutes every week! Just submit your list (5 tracks) and we will select the best of the best each week (try not to be cheesy… unless it's good cheese!).
Music on the night will be provided by selektors DJ B.two, Mu-gen, & 25th Hoodlum… plus special guests DJ Matik & Mafia on rotation, playing the best quality Hip Hop/Mash Up in Melbourne. Hit up crookslist@twilightcrooks.com if you want to be placed on the guestlist!
