RUDEBOY & RASCAL Born out of the sprawling suburban jungle of North London s wine bars, tower blocks, well manicured lawns and piss stained streets, The Nu Ska band Rudeboy and Rascal have evolved and emerged into a social scene, riddled with recession, protest, monkey men, fat cat pay-outs and a mass populist desperately seeking chemically fuelled fun times; to distract them from the day to day grind of their twenty first century strife. Rudeboy and Rascal s musical styling, twists and blends Dance music, Ska and Reggae, whilst seamlessly merging haunting Pulp Fiction style guitars into the mix. Rudeboy and Rascal then serve it all up, with a large healthy dollop of witty yet narcissistic Punk Rock style and attitude.
SENNKA ADRIAN ROYE & THE EXILES Adrian grew up in North London listening to his family s records: an eclectic mix of music from reggae to rock, country to soul. While these have shaped his style as a singer and songwriter, somehow he has achieved a voice that is uniquely his own. His personal musical journey started out as a solitary venture, but fellow musicians have been recruited along the way. Whilst recording his first album, "Welcome to One Man Town, " he began playing regularly with songwriter Beth Dariti as a duo for several years in venues such as Camden s Green Note and The Troubadour in Earls Court. In February of 2008, they were joined by drummer Dan Paton and cellist/bassist Simon Lewis to create a four-piece, Adrian Roye and the Exiles.
GUILT HANDS SHINING are Rob, Anthony, Matt and John from Southend-on-sea. They have been playing together for a while and have recently been joined by John on drums. They are due to record new material in early 2010. Watch this space.....
