Melbourne indie quartet Jacks Castle are launching their debut album On a Colour TV. The highly anticipated debut draws on the success of the bands two independently released EPs The Falling EP (2008) and The Lemon Tree EP (2006).
On a Colour TV was produced by acclaimed electro-folk producer Joe Hammond and mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London.
Jacks Castle have built up a reputation as one of Melbournes best live bands, having received a nomination as a Top 5 Finalist in the live category of the 2008 Music Oz Awards. After three years of playing gigs and amassing a word-of-mouth fan base, the band is about to embark on its first national tour to promote the release of the album.
2010 is set to be a big year for Jacks Castle. Be the first to hear their blend of raw acoustic flavours, electronic overtones, warm melodies and drifting song structures.
