The full moon parties in Minakami have been going for the last 3 years with DJ s from Japan, New Zealand, U.S.A.,Brazil, France and the UK. With the on site bungalows and many outdoor activties in the area such as white water rafting, canyoning, MTB, canoe, kayak, flying fox, bungy, buggy, hiking, onsen (hot springs),and ropeway. It is a great chance to get out the big city and make a weekend of it.

Car. Form Tokyo, kanetsu highway, Minakami IC. route 120 through Minakami, follow Full Moon Party signs. (Tokyo Nerima IC to venue 2-3hrs)
Train. JR Joestu line, Ueno st - JR Minakami st shuttle bus to party. (takes 2hr20mins)
JR Joestu Shinkansen, Tokyo st - Jomo kouugen st, there is a shuttle bus to - J R Minakami st - party shuttle bus 1hr 25mins.
