Red Alert - contemporary jazz fuelled by interesting time scapes, strong grooves and a cinematic texture. Janette’s influences are wide-ranging and eclectic, from Dave Brubeck to David Bowie and Herbie Hancock to Goldfrapp. Featuring Jack Pollitt on drums and Tom Mason on bass.

“For all her familiarity with the commercial mainstream, Mason can't do anything obvious or unhip” John Fordham The Guardian

As an arranger, producer and performer Janette has a formidable track record. She toured extensively throughout the 90s with artists like Oasis, Pulp and Robert Wyatt and has proven to be a consummate musician and a standout talent in Jazz, Pop and World Music.

Her compositions can be heard on numerous TV programs and Films including the score for the award-winning film Ruby Blue starring Bob Hoskins. Her music has been described as similar to EST and The Bad Plus.
