Papua New Guinea's most famous musician Telek and his band are touring Australia with Melbourne musician David Bridie (ex-Not Drowning Waving, My Friend The Chocolate Cake, film soundtracks) to promote the release of Telek's new album 'Amette' (out now on Blunt Records).
They will be performing at The Salarium Space (Morrow Park Bowling Club, Wickham) on Saturday 11th December.
This will be a rare chance to hear some authentic Melanesian/world music from our nearest northern neighbours.
