Johnty Wilks is a saxophonist, composer and producer of his special brand of relaxing music and spiritual jazz. Influenced by ECM artists, the modal jazz of Miles Davis, the hypnotic chants of Don Cherry's trumpet, he brings a refreshing approach to the newer boundaries of jazz.

"His sound is cool, instantly captivating and reminiscent of Jan Garbarek and the late Paul Desmond. Eyes tightly closed, he improvises freely; richly melodic phrases flow endlessly from his imagination. " The Jazzman Blog

"Johnty holds his audience spellbound, a tour-de-force performance of free flowing improvisation. " Alternative Reading
