Saturday 14th October 2017

This joyous mix of Italian, Spanish, Greece, Turkish, Gypsy and Ska music makes for a sound somewhere between The Godfather and one of the best festival bands you've ever seen in your life!

Live: lokandes, colomboloco

Venue: Balabam, 58-60 High Road, Tottenham, London, N15 6JU, United Kingdom

Tickets: FREE BEFORE 9PM: GBP 0, AFTER 9PM: GBP 3

Time: 8pm - 2am

LOKANDES:
Lokandes are fronted by whirldwind musical maestro Kanti Qena and related their name to the combination of two words: 'Crazy' and 'Andes' which represents the intention of their music: Crazy music from the Andes. The project aims to create alternative music, taking the melodies and energy of Andean music and bringing it up to date; creating a fusion of traditional roots and Afro-Andean rhythms with other contemporary genres such as Reggae, Cumbia, Ska, Jazz, Son, Rumba Folk and funky Latin rhythms.

COLOMBOLOCO:
"Bands don’t come more fun, frivolous and ballsy than Colomboloco. Just watch this video and you'll see what we mean:

This joyous mix of Italian, Spanish, Greece, Turkish, Gypsy and Ska music makes for a sound somewhere between The Godfather and the best festival band you’ve ever seen in your life. Some of the finest musicians in the capital today having easily the best time you’ve ever seen a band have on stage. Do not miss this absolute delight. " Grazie mille to Adam Pickering of Sounddhism

Colomboloco are the most fun you can have in London with or without your clothes on. Prepare yourself for a blitz of eccentric theatricality, wild gypsy beats, virtuoso fingerwork, wanton genre-mixing, lunatic dancing and inexplicable outfits. The devil has 5 new souls on his roster and we invite you to join them in the inferno!
