Spring Migration is a Gay & Lesbian festival held in Yackandandah annually. It is open to all people regardless of sexuality.
Come along and join us for our third Festival in 2007 - a weekend of fun and frivolity in beautiful Yackandandah, North East Victoria (just south of Albury/Wodonga) & (just north of Beechworth)

Entry to Dance Party (live performers, DJ's, live band, lighting and sound provided by Albury Sound & Lighting) (bar on site)

Entry to "After Party" at the Star Hotel. Featuring live music

Entry to the indoor "Who's yer Daddy Fathers Day Market"

Also for an additional $10.00 ticket holders may go on the bus tour to Rutherglen Estates Winery (wine and cheese tasting) and beer tasting at Bintara Boutique Brewerey (finger food supplied) Along with a brief stop in Rutherglen township as well. (Tour to be confirmed)

There are many activities that you can enjoy also:
Horse riding in Yackandandah, Karr's Reef Gold Mine Tunnel & Cave Tour, Visit local Plant nurseries, Lavender Farm, Vienna Pastisserie, Local Wineries, Local Pottery, Shopping in Yackandandah or visit surrounding towns within 20 minutes drive such as, Albury/Wodonga, Beechworth, Chiltern, Myrtleford, Rutherglen or further on to Bright and Mt. Buffallo.
So come on up and join in the fun and frivolity of our 3rd Annual Spring Migration Gay & Lesbian Festival.

At the Star Hotel is"Meet & Greet" on Friday 5th September, 2008
Afterwards at eh Yackandandah hall our favourite performers A SURPRISE ACT and "DJ Miss Eleni" from Melbourne, entertainment at it's best and something you'll remember for years to come.
(Usually the crowd consists of half local and half visitors from all over the country.)

Then Saturday 6THSept, 2008 "Shop Till You Drop" Or just sit and watch the world go by, or cruise around town to check out our delightful and eclectic mix of antique, specialist, arty and unique shops.
Breakfast is also available all day in our range of Cafes, the Star Hotel and Yackandandah Bakery.
1PM Saturday to be confirmed, a new event "The Rutherglen Winery Tour"

Saturday night: Walk up to the Yackandandah Hall for our Dance Party.

Firstly some live performers, TO BE CONFIRMED... later followed by a more up - market show featuring SURPRISE ARTISTS AND Aida & Her Exotic Thai Dancers you must not miss. Then later still DJ's with grooves to get you flying all over the dance floor. Then back to the Star hotel for our "after party" featuring more music to unwind and get us ready for sunday.

Don't forget to check out the "Who's Yer Daddy" Fathers day Market held in the Yack hall with live music. From 10am.
Great local crafts, art, jams, plants, clothing, gifts and more from our townsfolk and surrounding areas

And also our Special Church Service at Yackandandah's Historic Anglican Church, open to all denominations.
