When initially released in spring 2000, Bad Company's debut LP Inside The Machine was hailed as a stone cold classic. It came off the back of a devastating trail of singles, most noticably The Nine, which continually sold out faster than it was re-pressed, as well as countless other dancefloor smashers on labels including Ram, Virus & Prototype.
STATE OF MIND is the New Zealand drum&bass duo of Patrick Hawkins & Stu Maxwell who are now very well known in Perth, thanks to their consistent crowd pleasing performances in recent times. After releases on some of thescenes biggest labels, 2007 was the year they launched their very own imprint, SOM Music. Representative of their own unique sound, the label is definitely ' one to watch ' with collaborations & remixes by the likes of Black Sun Empire, Chris Su,The Upbeats, Axiom & more all on the horizon!
THE QEMISTS
Between the 3 of them, they have worked in almost every musical capacity. From remixes of Coldcut, Dr octagon & Roots Manuva, to sound
engineering for Basement Jaxx & many of the biggest names in DnB. Always on a mission to do something different, their 3 man - 2 deck -
2 laptop DJ set was born, bursting with double drops, live remixes & the sound of technology.
