DJCXL, New Zealand’s DMC Champion 2003 will play live in Sydney Friday 9 May at Hermann’s Bar. He is here to support the launch of the club banging single ‘Take 1’ by Sydney artist, 1Stance.
Hip Hop heavyweight DJCXL has been terrorising the 1200’s for the last decade. After winning the 2003 NZ DMC finals, CXL then represented NZ at the DMC World finals in London placing in the top 12. As the sole DJ to support DJ Q-bert on his NZ tour, it is evident CXL’s fine skills are internationally respected & revered. He has supported acts such as 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Black Eyed Peas, Cypress Hill, RZA, and Destiny’s Child just to name a few.
The tenacious Young Hate, one of Aussie hip hop’s freshest faces will also make a debut appearance. Representing Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Young Hate will showcase a good mix of songs with heart-felt lyrics and melodic hooks delivered with confidence in his signature flow.
Mykaphobic from the ACT will also make an appearance, sporting his latest release, ‘King’ featuring Hussein Fatal from 2Pac’s Outlawz. Sydney’s underground hip hop crew, Advanced Tactics will round off the acts making this a line up never seen before.
