Meet Anne McKevitt, international businesswoman and entrepreneur

Anne McKevitt is one of the most powerful and influential businesswomen in Australia. On the 29th May, she’ll be presenting at the Business Chicks Breakfast at the Hyatt Regency, Adelaide.

At the age of 15, Anne McKevitt was living in rural Scotland, where she dropped out of school and moved to London. With a true belief that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything, Anne created a multi-million pound interior design, construction and property business and had acquired a number of famous friends by the time she was 23.

Soon after, Anne was involved in a terrible car accident, leaving her unable to walk and bed-ridden for almost a year. After months of recuperative treatments, gradually she regained her mobility. From that point on there was no stopping her. She was out to conquer and succeed in all that she set out to achieve.

Anne’s interior design business flourished, with a number of A-list celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Sir Elton John and Julie Walters all on her client list. Anne ran a regular feature on a number of lifestyle television programs in Britain and in the US and also wrote numerous best-selling books.

Anne sits on the Women’s Leadership Board at Harvard and in 2002 was recognised by the ivy-league university as one of the forty Harvard Leading Women Entrepreneurs in the World. She was also acknowledged by Time Magazine as one of four International Business Leaders to Watch and honoured by The International Herald Tribune as a World Class Entrepreneur.

One of Anne’s goals is to make poverty history and she is fulfilling this dream through a number of micro-loans to people in third world countries. “This is way more important than what colour someone should paint their bathroom!” says McKevitt.

Her upcoming presentation with Business Chicks is sure to sell out. You’ll learn how to remove the barriers to success and achieve your ultimate goals. Find out the secrets of one of the world’s most influential businesswomen and start achieving your dreams. Anne McKevitt doesn’t believe in failing and neither should you.
