Pear Shaped in Sydney follows in the footsteps of its sister clubs in London and at The Edinburgh Festival, a favourite of comics and audience alike. There is no telling who will drop in to perform for the sheer pleasure of it, try out new material or just take advantage of a little free therapy.
Pear Shaped in Fitzrovia, self-proclaimed as London’s Second Worst Comedy Club has the well-deserved reputation of discovering and smothering new talent. Comedians new and old have performed at Pear Shaped over the years including special shows at the Edinburgh Festival.
Brian & Krysstal are off to the UK for a while but they’ll be back in Sydney early in 2006.
In the meantime they have left Pear Shaped in the highly incapable hands of Jonas Holt, Chuck Boyd & Chris Strickland. All three have promised faithfully to adhere to the stringently low standards which Brian & Krysstal have set.
