Perquisites:

- Any amount of Runescape gold
- Completed Rune Mysteries quest (see below)
Runescape Essence is a trade item that can be made into Runescape by players. You need to complete the Runescape Mysteries quest to be able to mine Rune essence. Don’t worry, though, the Rune Mysteries quest is relatively easy and doesn’t require any combat skill whatsoever – you just run around and do errands for characters. You can start the quest at the basement of the Wizards Tower.(Guild Wars)
You need a pickaxe to mine Runescape Essence! Pickaxes are extremely cheap runescape gold. Buy one that best matches your mining level. New players should start with an iron or bronze pickaxe. Bronze pickaxes sell for just a few Runescape gold points each.(Guild Wars)
Getting There
After you have finished the quest, talk to the Varrock Runescape Shop owner and he’ll teleport you to the Rune Essence mine.(Guild Wars) Mine the Rune Essence until you have a full load, then go back to Varrock and deposit your load of Rune Essence at the bank.
As soon as you have enough Rune Essence, sell your load at either Varrock World 1 or Falador World 2 for the maximum market price. (Guild Wars) Remember to watch the Runescape forums for current prices!
