Plum Industries exists to promote locally produced electronic music and grow the local electro-fringe community by offering support to local electronic/sound & video artists and events in Cairns & Far North Queensland. Plum Industries fosters the growth of local underground electronic music through mass media promotion and provides information on local and visiting artists, events, festivals, conferences, workshops, projects, opportunities and anything else of interest.
Plum Industries is particularly interested in left-field electronica, IDM, downtempo, experimental, soundscape, noise and avante-hip hop-dancehall-dub-pop-rock-jazz whatever.
